Pinoy Exhibit

Got this invite about a month ago, and was only able to check it out earlier last week:
Hosted by Bench, Human, and Kashieca; collaborations between these brands and designers are on display and on sale as well. With works by Joey Samson, John James Uy, Brian Leyva, Dennis Celestial. This exhibit ends this Sunday, so visit the Playground (3/F Dimensione Building, Bonifacio High Street, The Fort, Taguig)

Here are some of the photos I took:

Most of the clothes on exhibit are items used for the brands' fashion shows

All of them have an ethnic Pinoy flavor

I'm liking this cardigan—slouchy and lounge-y

Some of the pieces even have photos of the celebrities wearing it (during the fashion show)

This is my favorite area of the exhibit. I love sarongs and bustles—so girly and has an old-world romantic feel to it.
Instead of mannequins, the use of these cardboard illustrations is a refreshing choice.

So many pretty skirts :D

Wah!!! I am so tempted to go back and get one of these skirts/sarongs, priced at around P2,000. Other clothing items are being sold from P1,800 up. There are some pieces that go over P10,000 too! Other than these very limited clothing, they also have Pinoy statement tees on sale. So, do check them out—exhibit is only until this Sunday.
