Had a very busy weekend. How was yours?
Went to Dangwa to buy flowers for V-day:
Had dinner with my in-laws, and at the stroke of midnight of the new year,
my side of the family lined up to ask for blessings—in different temples in Chinatown...
lighted candles for the "gods"
Had ginger tea for good fortune and prosperity
had lunch with my family at Shang Palace at Makati Shangri-la hotel. It's the first time we had this dish:
while tossing the ingredients together, you say all the Chinese New Year proverbs to bring in good fortune :)
